Shoutout to my old instructor for the shielding tip
My avionics teacher back at TSTC told me to always twist my wire pairs tighter than I thought I needed to. Ran a 24 volt run on a King Air last week and had zero noise issues because of it. Has anyone else had a trick from school that actually stuck with you?

Honestly that's wild to hear you ran a 24 volt run on a King Air with zero noise. I remember my instructor telling me the same thing about twisting wires but I never believed it would actually make that big of a difference. Ngl I've been lazy with it before and regretted it later on some smaller planes. Tbh that tip is one of those things that sounds too simple to be true but it just works.

Actually it's a Caravan not a King Air, different bird entirely. Still impressive though. Twisting wires is legit, I learned that lesson the hard way on a Cessna 310 back in the day.
