Just realized a bad crimp tool can cost you a whole afternoon

I spent three hours chasing a phantom comms fault on a G1000 install, only to find my old crimper was making weak connections that passed a continuity check but failed under load. What's your go-to crimp tool brand that hasn't let you down?

Yeah that continuity check thing is a perfect example of stuff looking fine until it has to actually work. It's like when a phone charger cable only works if you bend it just right. My Wera crimpers are the only ones I trust now because cheap tools always hide their problems until the worst time.

Continuity checks can lie, you really need a proper pull test. My Klein crimpers have been solid for years.
