Had a really good day rewiring a Cessna 172 panel yesterday

Swapped out the old vacuum driven AI for a new G5 and everything powered up on the first try. No pinched wires, no flipped pins on the DB9 connector, just clean signal right away. Usually I chase a ground loop or a bad crimp for hours but this one went smooth. The owner even brought me a coffee which never happens. Anybody else have those rare days where nothing fights back?

Three out of ten jobs go that smooth. The other seven remind you why you drink.

Man I feel that in my bones! I had one of those nightmare jobs last month where everything that could go wrong did go wrong. The trick that finally saved my sanity was walking away for 15 minutes to grab a coffee and just breathe. Came back with a clear head and saw the problem was actually really simple I was just too frustrated to notice. Now I do that anytime I feel that rage building up. Works way better than throwing tools across the garage, trust me.
