Got my first IAW job done without pulling the manual once

Been working avionics for about 6 years, mostly GA stuff near Charlotte, and this morning I finished a full pitot static check on a 172 without flipping through the book even once. Felt pretty good since I used to need it open every time, even for the simple stuff. I know it's not a huge deal, but it made me realize how much the reps have stuck with me. Anyone else hit a point where the routine stuff just clicks, or did you still keep the manual nearby for peace of mind?

Six years in, did you notice the 14 CFR 43 appendix stuff sinking in on its own, or the actual step sequences?
