Went from covered to open carrier for a beater and wow
Hauled my 99 Civic from Austin to Phoenix last month, paid $400 for open instead of $850 for enclosed like I did on my old Supra back in 2019. Figured a $1500 car aint worth the fancy ride. Got it 2 days faster and the only damage was a small rock chip on the hood that was already there anyway. Why do we all overthink this? When do you guys actually bite the bullet on enclosed, or am I just cheap?
