Shipper in Reno quoted me $1,100 to move my truck to Denver, wound up paying $1,650
Booked the move 3 weeks out for my F-150 and the dispatcher swore the quote was locked in, then called me 2 days before pickup saying fuel surcharges pushed it up. I get that rates move, but has anyone had luck getting a broker to actually honor the first number?

Fuel prices going up two grand overnight? Sounds like the dispatcher just wanted a bigger cut.
