Tried a cheap mud tire vs a pricier one at Hatfield McCoy last week
I ran a set of Sedona Coyotes for two seasons because they were $80 each and my buddy kept telling me to upgrade. Finally swapped to ITP Mud Lites at $130 a tire and the difference was night and day. The Lites actually clean out in sticky West Virginia clay instead of turning into slicks. Has anyone else made the switch from budget tires and noticed a real difference or was it just me?

Same thing happened to me with some cheap Sunf tires I grabbed on sale. They were okay on dry gravel but absolute garbage in any kind of mud. Swapped to a set of Maxxis and it felt like a completely different ride.

You ever get that feeling where you're just mad at yourself for not spending the extra cash sooner? I ran those cheap Sunnyside tires once and they packed up so bad I had to winch out of a puddle. The Mud Lites are worth every penny in that clay.
