Thought those cheap tire plug kits were junk until a guy in Barstow got me home on one
I blew a rear tire on my Rancher about 20 miles outside Barstow a couple weeks back, and the only thing in my toolkit was a $8 plug kit I grabbed at a gas station on a whim. I figured it was the kind of thing that would just fall apart, but it held air the whole ride back and I rode it another 3 days before getting a real replacement. Now I keep one strapped under the seat on both my quads. Has anyone actually had one fail on them, or is it mostly just people not reaming the hole enough?
