Hit 5,000 miles on my old quad and it surprised the heck out of me

I rolled over 5,000 miles last Saturday on my 2010 utility quad out near the Pine Barrens. I bought it used with 3,200 on the clock three winters ago, so I never really tracked the total. When I stopped to check the odometer at the gas station, I just sat there for a minute. Every belt, bearing, and axle is still original, which feels like a small miracle. Has anyone else passed a big milestone on a machine they secretly expected to quit early?

You really never changed a belt in 5,000 miles? Not even the fan belt or the drive belt? I'm calling mild BS on that one, because my buddy's quad ate its first belt before 2,000 and the second one at 3,500, both on flat trails. What kinda terrain are you running, just straight sand roads with no mud or hills? And what are you doing for maintenance, just oil changes and a prayer? Because if that machine is truly all original, you either got the one factory freak or you're lying about how hard you actually ride it.
