TIL you can stack phone shots of the moon and get way more detail than one frame
I was out in my driveway in Tucson last Tuesday around 11pm with just my phone on a $20 tripod, and I grabbed about 200 shots of the moon at ISO 100 with the shutter tapped down. I threw 60 of the sharpest ones into a free stacking program and suddenly the craters along the terminator looked crisp instead of mushy. Has anyone here tried this with planets, or is a phone just not gonna cut it past the moon?
