Paid $200 for a star tracking mount, biggest waste ever
Bought a cheap star tracker off Amazon last month. Set it up in my backyard in Portland. First night, it wouldn't align with Polaris at all. Second night, the motor just stopped after 10 minutes. Customer service ghosted me. Anyone else get burned by a budget tracker?

lol yeah I had almost the exact same thing happen with a $150 tracker I grabbed off Amazon, couldn't get it to hold alignment for more than a few minutes. The motor sounded like a dying blender and then just quit entirely, support never answered a single email. Honestly feels like these cheap trackers are just pre-broken garbage that gets drop-shipped straight to the recycling bin.
