Archive.org saved my butt after a site redesign nuked my old tutorials
Last month I was trying to find a specific guide I wrote back in 2019 about geocaching with a Garmin eTrex 30, and the new owners of the forum deleted everything older than 2021. I sat in my kitchen in Columbus for an hour feeling stupid, then remembered the Wayback Machine. I typed in the old URL, picked a snapshot from March 2020, and got the whole thing including the comments section. Has anyone else had to dig through archived pages just to recover their own content?
