Am I the only one who wasted 6 months trusting Google's quotes before a records clerk in Akron showed me site: and the minus sign
A clerk at the county records office in Akron gave me a 10 minute crash course and it beat every search tip I had picked up on my own. She had me drop quotes around "property transfer" because the exact phrase was killing 90 percent of my results, then stack a minus sign in front of the county name to cut out news pages. Two days later I found the 1987 deed she said was sitting in the wrong index, which Google never would have surfaced. What odd search combo did someone hand you that ended up beating the fancy tricks?
