Vent: The guy at the hardware counter on Columbia Pike saved me $40 and I can't stop thinking about it
I went in for a full box of stainless lag screws for a gate job and the older fella behind the counter asked what I was fastening, then pointed me to the smaller zinc box and said the stainless would just gall up on me anyway. Honestly I've been in and out of that place for months and that was the first time someone actually asked what the job was before ringing me up. Anybody got a go-to spot in Arlington where the staff actually steer you instead of just handing you what you asked for?
