Changed my mind about the county pool after reading the water test results
I used to avoid the Arlington county pools because I figured they were packed and gross, but last week I saw the posted daily inspection sheet at the Lubber Run pool and the numbers were spotless. That plus a friend telling me how the lifeguards run a strict shower rule made me give it a try on a Tuesday morning. Has anyone else had a similar turnaround on a local spot they'd written off for years?

Wait, wasn't it the same for you with the Greenbrier pool over by the library? I remember driving past it for years and thinking it was always a zoo, but I went on a random weekday afternoon last summer and honestly it was chill, water was clear, and nobody was hovering over the lanes like I expected. Now I'm actually glad I gave it a shot because I'd been missing out on a solid spot just because of my own assumptions.
