Ballston vs Courthouse for a solo move, picked wrong one
Moved to Arlington last month for a new job. Had two apartments lined up. One in Ballston, one in Courthouse. Went with Courthouse because the rent was $200 less a month. Turns out the noise is brutal. My bedroom faces Wilson Blvd. Fire trucks every night. The Ballston place was quieter and closer to the metro. Should have paid the extra money. Has anyone else made a similar mistake and switched neighborhoods after a lease?
