That storm cleanup in Denton changed how I rig big oaks

After a microburst took down a 60 foot red oak in a tight backyard last month, I finally got the hang of using a block and tackle instead of just wrestling limbs, and now I'm wondering if anyone else swears by that method for big removals or am I overcomplicating it?
