Just realized cooling your chainsaw bar between cuts makes a big difference

I was cutting through some tough oak and noticed the bar getting super hot, lol. Letting it cool for a minute between sections seems to prevent the chain from dulling as fast. Anyone else try this or have other bar care tips?

Actually letting it cool too much just makes your work take forever.

Yeah but "makes your work take forever" is better than rushing and having to redo it all. A little patience saves a ton of time later.
