Just drove through Asheville and saw something wild on the oaks
Stopped at a rest stop off I-40 near Asheville last weekend. Every single oak along the service road had bacterial leaf scorch. Not one or two trees. Probably 50 of them with that brown edge curling. Has anyone else noticed it spreading this bad on the East Coast?

Brown edge curling" sounds more like drought stress to me, not bacterial scorch.

...and fifty of them? In one spot? That's gotta be some kind of record or something. I've seen it here and there on the coast but not like a whole block of trees all at once like that. Are we sure it's not something in the air or the water around there making them all sick?
