Spent 45 minutes chasing a phantom error code on a Whirlpool dryer
Turns out the moisture sensor bar was just caked with fabric softener residue. A quick wipe with rubbing alcohol fixed it instantly. Anyone else waste time on something that simple before checking the obvious?

Buddy of mine spent two hours replacing the belt and pulley on his dryer, cussing the whole time. Finally called his dad who just walked over and cleaned the lint trap. That was the whole problem.
