I finally switched from a meter to a clamp and cut my diagnostic time on a dead dryer in half
Spent 20 minutes chasing a no-heat call in a Kenmore with the probes until I clipped the clamp around the element lead and saw 0 amps right away, bad element the whole time. How many of you keep the clamp on your belt all day instead of digging the meter out?
