Honestly, I think the new My Hero Academia season is missing the point
Tbh, I just finished the first four episodes of the new season and it feels off. Everyone online is hyping up the big fight scenes, but ngl, the characters feel flat now. Deku's whole 'I have to do this alone' arc is dragging on way too long, like we're six episodes deep and he's still moping. I remember back in season 2 when the show balanced school life and hero work perfectly. Now it's just one grim battle after another with no breathing room. The scene where he ignored Uraraka's call for the third time actually made me roll my eyes. Has anyone else felt like the show lost its heart somewhere after the war arc? I'm starting to think the writers are just going through the motions.
