About time. Those things were garbage even when they were new. You could barely open two tabs without it crying for mercy. Sticking with one for ten plus years is just punishing yourself for no reason. Hopefully you got something with actual power this time.

My buddy kept his old laptop going for years with a stripped down Linux install and a prayer. He swore by it until the day the screen just gave up and went black during a Zoom call. He sat there talking to a dead screen for five minutes before realizing it. Funny thing is, he replaced it with a Chromebook of all things, which is fine for email but not much else. Now he complains about not having a real keyboard and missing his old clunky machine. In my experience, sometimes people just get attached to what they know, even if it was terrible from day one.
