Just retired my ancient Palm Pilot after the stylus snapped and the screen went haywire

It finally died on me Thursday while I was trying to sync it for probably the last time, so I dumped all the contacts into a basic text file on my laptop. Anybody else still holding onto a PDA that works but is one crack away from the trash?

My buddy Marcus had a Palm Tungsten that he babied for almost 12 years. The screen got all scratched up and the battery barely held a charge but he kept using it to organize his fishing trips. He finally killed it when he dropped it in a cooler full of ice and beer at a BBQ last summer. He fished it out but the thing was done. Now he just uses a notepad app on his phone but he misses the physical buttons.

Yeah losing it in a cooler is rough. I wrapped mine in a ziploc after that happened to a buddy.
