Can we talk about the librarian in Dayton who refused to let me toss a 1998 Zip drive
Last Tuesday at the library book sale in Dayton, I tried to put a dusty 1998 Zip drive in the free pile and a volunteer grabbed my wrist and said, "we do not throw out history." She then plugged it into a Windows XP tower behind the desk and it spun up like nothing. So now I own a Zip drive and zero disks, and I need to know, does anyone actually have a use for these things or am I just holding a paperweight?
