That cloudy Saturday roll of Tri-X captured something my phone missed
Drove out to the old grain elevator outside Buffalo last month on a flat gray morning, brought my Minolta with one roll of Tri-X I'd had sitting in the fridge too long. The light was boring, no shadows at all, but the photos came back with this quiet mood that made every parking lot and chain link fence look like a scene from a movie. Has anyone else had a roll you almost skipped turn out to be your favorite of the year?
