Bought a $30 Holga from a thrift store - thought it was a joke
Picked up a beat up Holga 120N at a garage sale in Portland for 30 bucks. Figured it was just a toy, plastic lens and all. Took it on a hike near Mount Hood and the light leaks actually made the photos look cool. Has anyone else found weird film cameras that surprised them? I still shoot digital mostly.

Yeah but come on, thirty bucks for a Holga isn't some hidden gem find. They're basically a cardboard box with a lens cap for a lens. The light leaks are the whole point, not some happy accident. You can get that same effect on a modern camera with a bit of editing and a chunk of tape over the hinge.
