Old rotary phone dialing trick is actually faster for me now

I swapped my smartphone for a 1970s rotary at my kitchen desk last week because I kept doomscrolling during coffee. To my shock, dialing my mom's number by feel takes about 20 seconds, but I never pick up the screen out of habit anymore. Has anyone else found a clunky analog tool that broke a digital compulsion for them?
