Hot take: those fancy bullet journals are a total trap

I spent $45 on a nice notebook and all these special pens last month trying to get organized analog style. After 3 weeks of drawing calendars I never filled in, I just went back to a legal pad and a mechanical pencil. Anyone else find the simple stuff works way better?
