Found a grease stain trick with cornstarch that saved my work pants

After I dropped bacon grease on my favorite Carhartts last Tuesday, I rubbed cornstarch into the spot and let it sit 10 minutes before washing, and the stain came out completely has anyone else tried this for oil-based messes?
