TIL spray foam insulation made my old adobe house feel like a plastic bottle

I hired a crew in June to spray foam the attic of my 1950s adobe in the South Valley. Everyone told me it was the best thing for efficiency, but now my house sweats like crazy in the summer and I can't get the humidity out. I spent $2,800 on that job and now I'm looking at installing a whole ventilation system. Has anyone else had moisture problems after sealing up an older home around here?

Oh man, that's a bummer. Seems like we're so quick to seal everything up tight we forget old houses need to breathe like old houses, not like a new apartment.
