That cheap wireless contact sensor I mocked finally passed a full year on a bar fridge door
I installed a $12 no-name sensor on a walk-in cooler at a diner in Boise last August and figured I'd be back to swap it by November. Just did the annual battery check and the thing's still holding strong, even with the door slamming all day. Anyone else had budget gear outlast the expensive stuff they swore by?
