Rant: my panel swap in Dearborn took 9 hours because the old wiring was a rat's nest
Spent 9 hours on a panel swap in a 1970s Dearborn split level when I planned for 4, and half of that was just tracing zone wires some guy spliced with electrical tape back in the 90s. So what's your cutoff on old wiring, do you rip it all out or just reuse what tests clean?
