Just realized my old sup was right about torque specs back in 2016
I used to just snug stuff down by feel and call it good, especially on landing gear bolts. My old lead at the shop in Bakersfield, a guy named Ray, pulled me aside and said 'Lucas, the manual gives you a number for a reason, hit it.' I started actually using the torque wrench every single time and I have not had a comebacker since. Curious how many of you got a similar kick in the pants early on and what it was about.
