Bought into the hype about laser bore sighting and it let me down hard
Ngl, I was real skeptical of those cheap laser bore sights for years. But last rifle season, a buddy swore his was spot on for his AR, so I grabbed one from a shop in Nashville. Took it to the range, aligned it perfectly, and my first three shots at 50 yards were a foot and a half left. Turned out the laser itself was even out of adjustment, so I wasted an afternoon re-zeroing the old school way with iron sights. Has anyone else had a laser tool just totally fail on them like that? Trying to figure out if any brand is worth the money or if it's all gimmicks.
