My sister's air fryer cookies turned into hockey pucks
I was at her place in Austin last weekend and she said she found a recipe for air fryer chocolate chip cookies. She set the temp to 400 and left them in for 12 minutes. We pulled out these dark, crispy discs that barely had any inside. Has anyone else had a similar issue with baking cookies in an air fryer?

honestly i think 300 is way too low for cookies in an air fryer, you gotta go around 350 for like 6 mins max or they just turn into raw dough pucks instead of burnt ones lol

Air fryer chocolate chip cookies turned into hockey pucks" pretty much sums it up perfectly. That temperature and time combo is way too aggressive for something like cookies, you basically flash-fried them into charcoal discs. Next time tell her to try 300 for about 8 minutes, that's what works for my wife's air fryer cookies (you know, if she's brave enough to try again).
