Hit 60 straight dinners out of the air fryer without a single fail and I owe it to one cheap thing
So I got my air fryer about 5 months ago and I've been cooking dinner in it almost every night since. Last night I did the math and realized I've made roughly 60 meals in a row without anything coming out raw, burnt, or sad. That matters to me because my stove is honestly terrible and I used to burn chicken at least once a week. The thing that changed it for me was a $9 instant read thermometer from the grocery store, not some fancy accessory. I used to just guess on timing and hope for the best, which is why half my early batches of thighs were pink in the middle. Now I pull stuff when it hits 165 for chicken or 145 for pork and it works every time. I also quit crowding the basket, which was hard because I'm impatient and want to dump everything in at once. Has anyone else found that one cheap tool or habit that fixed most of their air fryer problems?
