Tried an AI call screener for a week, now I get why people use them

I figured those AI phone assistants for small businesses were all hype until my plumber in Austin showed me his. He gets maybe 40 calls a day and was missing half of them while on jobs. I set one up for my own shop last Monday and it booked 3 appointments I would have lost, plus it texts me a summary. Has anyone else had a weird moment where an AI took a message better than your actual voicemail?
