Switched to AI note-taking for meetings and it cut my follow-up time by 40%

Three weeks ago I started using an AI tool to transcribe and summarize my project meetings. Before that I was spending at least an hour after each meeting rewriting messy handwritten notes. Now I get a clean summary with action items sent to my email before I even leave the room. The biggest difference was catching details I normally missed like deadlines and name references. Anyone else tried this and found it helped with team communication?

lol 40% sounds about right but honestly I bet it's even more if you count the mental energy you save not having to re-listen to stuff in your head. Just make sure you double check the action items though, mine once totally missed a deadline that was literally said twice in the meeting.

Oh man, the action item thing is real. Caught one last week where the AI said "review budget by Friday" but the actual deadline was end of month. Would've been a mess if I didn't catch it. Still, I feel you on the mental energy part. I used to replay meetings in my head on the drive home and that drained me way more than I realized. Now I can actually leave work at work.
