Just realized my barber was right about that local ad with the dancing hot dog
Honestly I always skip past ads for local stuff because they seem so low budget, but my barber Marcus down on 7th Street mentioned this ad for a hot dog place that ran during every single local hockey break last season. He said the owner paid some guy $250 to film a dancing hot dog in a parking lot and it was so dumb he had to go try the food. I laughed at him and forgot about it. Then two months later I was up at 11pm scrolling and the same ad popped up, and I clicked it on purpose just to see if it was as bad as he said. It was, like a man in a hot dog suit doing the worm next to a minivan, but the menu had a $3 chili dog deal for game nights. So I drove there the next Friday, tried it, and now I've gone back 4 times. The food is fine but I'd probably never have found the place without that stupid dancing hot dog. Has anyone else actually shown up somewhere because the ad was so weird it stuck in your head?
