The rust stain on my driveway after it rained turned into a mountain range, and I took 30 pictures of it
Last Thursday I walked out to my car in Aurora and saw that a rusty water drip from my gutter had spread across the concrete into what looked exactly like a mountain ridge line with little valleys. I stood there for 10 minutes in my work clothes taking pictures from different angles, and now I notice these weird little patterns all over my yard after storms. Does anyone else stop and stare at random stuff like this, or do I just need a hobby?
Man, my buddy Dave did the exact same thing last summer after a storm rolled through. He had this old metal bucket out back that leaked rust water onto his patio, and the stain looked like the coastline of some made up country. He got so into it that he grabbed a sharpie and started labeling the little bays and peninsulas like he was a real map maker. Pretty sure his wife thought he lost it, but honestly those storm stains can look wild if you catch them at the right time of day.
