The frost on my windshield made a perfect mountain range, and I almost scraped it off
Last Tuesday morning in Denver it was 18 degrees and I rushed out to my car, mad about being late. I went to grab the scraper and stopped. The frost had formed these crazy jagged peaks and valleys that looked exactly like the Rockies at sunrise, all lit up gold and pink. My first thought was 'no way, that's just frost.' But I stood there for like five minutes taking photos from different angles. Some neighbor probably thought I lost my mind standing in the cold snapping pics of glass. It actually made me rethink every time I've dismissed stuff like this as nothing. We walk past tiny accidental masterpieces all the time and just wipe them away. Has anyone else caught something beautiful right before destroying it? What's the best thing you've almost erased?
