The best accidental art I ever saw was a cracked oil stain in a Tacoma parking lot.
It was after a light rain last fall, and the way the colors swirled together looked just like an abstract painting. I took a picture with my phone, and my wife said it looked more like art than half the stuff in our local gallery. Do you have a favorite photo of something ordinary that turned out beautiful by mistake?

Okay but come on, it's an oil stain. I get finding it pretty for a second, but calling it "art" feels like a stretch. People see patterns in clouds too, doesn't make them artists. The bar for what we call art is on the floor these days. It's just a happy accident, not some deep statement.
