Spent $80 on a so-called 'abstract art' parking lot crack

Saw this crack in the asphalt near the 7-Eleven on Elm Street. Looked exactly like a Rothko painting. Threw a frame around it in my head and convinced myself I'd sell it on Etsy. Three months later, zero interest and the city repaved it. Anyone else ever spot 'masterpieces' worth exactly nothing?

My buddy Mark did the same thing last year with a water stain on his garage ceiling that looked exactly like the Virgin Mary. He put it on Facebook Marketplace for $150, "#blessed" and all that. Left it up for six months and the only message he got was his mom asking if he'd finally lost it. Then his landlord painted over it during a routine inspection and Mark actually called the guy crying, like legit tears over a ceiling spot. We still bring it up at barbecues, he gets so red in the face lol.
