Showerthought: my 3am fridge shadow looked exactly like a wolf howling and it got 1,200 likes
So last Tuesday I couldn't sleep and went to get water around 3am, and the light from the hallway hit my fridge at this weird angle that made a shadow on the kitchen wall. I swear it looked exactly like a wolf howling at the moon, pointy ears and everything. I snapped a pic with my phone half asleep and posted it on a whim, didn't even think about it. Woke up the next morning to 1,200 likes and like 40 comments of people seeing the same thing or arguing it was a coyote. I've been doodling and messing with art my whole life and never got that kind of reaction from anything I actually tried on. Kinda wild that the one thing that hit was a total accident at 3am in my kitchen in Reno. Anyone else ever have a fluke pic blow up while your real stuff gets ignored?

Ha, that checks out. The algorithm loves blurry kitchen shadows more than actual effort. My best stuff gets 12 likes from my mom and a bot.
