Stumbled on a 2006 geocaching site that still lists caches that got bulldozed a decade ago

I was trying to remember this weird puzzle cache I found back in 2013 near a creek behind the old Kmart in Akron. So I dug up this geocaching site from like 2006 that’s still live but hasn’t had an update since 2014. The coordinates still show the cache as active (it’s not, trust me, I walked through a field of poison ivy to check last week). The whole thing is frozen in time with dead links and broken image files. Has anyone else gotten lost in an old hobby site that just... stopped?

Honestly, save a local copy of the whole page if you can (right click, save as). I've had too many of these old hobby archives just vanish overnight with no warning. That way you keep the weird puzzle bits even when the host finally dies.

Nah, I kinda think there's something cool about leaving it as is. It's a time capsule at that point. Saving it kills the whole feel of stumbling on something forgotten.
