Remember what the easter egg was? I'm curious if it was a hidden message from the devs or just a weird inside joke that got left in the code.

I read that some of those sites still have the original dev emails in the code.

Oh man, that's awesome... but I gotta say, calling a 2004 site "old" feels weird. That stuff is practically brand new to me. I was digging through Geocities pages and Angelfire sites way before that. It's cool that the easter egg is still there though... makes me want to go look at some old webrings now.
