Just stumbled on a WebRing directory from 2001 that's still ticking

Last Tuesday I was looking for old fan sites about the TV show Lost and found this WebRing page that hasn't been updated since 2008. It still has working links to like 15 personal sites run by people who probably forgot their passwords a decade ago. Has anyone else found a WebRing page that's just frozen in time like that?

Used to think WebRings were just clunky old internet junk, but honestly finding one still running feels like a little time capsule. It's kind of cool seeing those old layouts and links that actually still work.

Dude that's wild, I can't believe some of those sites still have their old guestbooks and counter widgets working. @the_wendy you're right, it's like a digital fossil. I clicked through a few and one had a frozen Geocities-style layout with a MIDI file that actually played, which blew my mind.
