DAE think a dead GeoCities page is worth more than a clean archive, or am I just being stubborn about it?
Found a page last week that a guy in Ohio built for his wife's poodle grooming side business, last touched in 1999, all animated gifs and a hit counter stuck at 4,312. Half the links are dead but the thing still loads on some dusty server, and I say leave it exactly like that. My buddy argues we should scrape it to a clean archive before the host dies, but I think the rot is the point, you know? Where do you all land on saving dead sites versus letting them fall apart on their own?
