Just found a 1998 site for a pet rock hotel that's still online

I was digging through old GeoCities links last week for a project and clicked on one called 'Rocky's Rest Stop'. It loaded with that classic bright blue background, a ton of animated GIFs of dancing rocks, and a visitor counter stuck at 42. The whole thing was a fully functional booking site for a 'luxury hotel' for pet rocks, with a price list. For $5, your rock got a 'single pebble suite' with a photo of a shoebox. I laughed so hard I almost spilled my drink. The contact page had a Hotmail address and said 'allow 7-10 days for a reply by fax'. It's wild that this thing is still up, untouched, like a digital time capsule. Has anyone else found a perfectly preserved, totally silly site like this from back then?

Oh man, that's a classic. I always try to grab screenshots and archive the page myself using the Wayback Machine's save feature. You never know when the hosting finally lapses and it's gone for good. I've got a whole folder of weird old sites like that, it's like digital archaeology.
